In a survey by CloudBees querying over 200 managers of tech companies, results show major problems with ai code in production.
While 92% expressed confidence in the ai generated code, 81% experience production issues with the code, ranging from functionality issues over security issues to performance issues. Once more clearly showing the gap between expectation and reality.

54% of the participants report increased costs in the last 12 month for CI/CD infrastructure.
While 68% 'feel' like they had some form of ROI, only 31% can name a specific business outcome. The 'feel' is a general issue with ai if you ask me, reality usually does not match the feelings.
